Highlights from the tournamentOpened by a visit from San Francisco's Mayor Edwin Lee and featuring 230 entries both from near and far, the Butterfly San Francisco Open 2015 has been a smashing success! At one point in the tournament, this tournament had 38 matches running simultaneously!
We would like to give a huge thank you to Butterfly North America for supplying the ping pong tables & logistical support, the Academy of Art University for the spectacular venue, and all the players that competed at this year’s tournament. Click here to see tournament results. It was a smashing success! We had an attendance of over 1,000 people and over 100 players entered in various categories, levels of play and age groups. Congratulations to Jiwe Xia and Jiaqi Zheng for winning 1st and 2nd place of the tournament.
